Default Datalogging issue

I got my ECU (pm6) back from Xenocron yesterday, hooked it up, put turboedit on the laptop, put the datalogging plugin on the laptop. When I run the datalogging software it says that I'm disconnected, well I can plainly see that the cable is connected to the port, any ideas what the problem could be?

What datalogging software are you using?

Did you click "Connect"? Did you set the baud settings? COM port settings? What TTL to RS232 convertor are you using? Where did you get the pinout to connect it?

..c'mon, we need a lot more information to help you.

I'm using ECUControl 5.8.26.

Nevermind, I got it, but I'm not getting an RPM reading, and the boost reading says I'm at 19psi while in vac. (idle in neutral). Any clues?

Actually, I disconnected, then reconnected and now I'm getting a perfect RPM and boost/vac reading. wonder what that was about.
