its more of a drag thing. less time lost if you dont pull you foot off the gas and just shift. As for the FTS mine doesnt work to well either. few weeks ago i was comming up and over a hill with a friend and i did it at 8k. not too sure what happened but data logging shows that it didnt hold it at 6k like i had it set. it went to the rev limiter poped a few times. I shifted and the motor died! had some hella crazy jerking and then the motor came back on cause it was still in geat and the key was on. car didnt run right after that. ended up jumping teeth on the timing belt. im not sure if this is how its supposed to work but yeah BE CAREFUL PEOPLE
