an ls1 will not bolt up but you can get conversion mounts. also meaga squirt would be the cheapest option. I plan on usingg megaquirt, modifying a victor jr. manifold to take a fuel rail and making an adapter to use a big muustang throttle body.

Yeah after looking around and pricing some engines I think I would be better of working with the one I have. It's not a daily driver so down time and building are not a problem. I still would like to convert to EFI though. I will have to read up on the megasquirt system.
