OLDER TEG D series?
I was wondering what the older integra D16 was like.. the DOHC ? a kid i know has a Teg with a blown motor.. and will give away the car and motor for FREE ....even if i can LEARN something from it... But i would like to find out the Basic info on the DOHC D series. never heard a thing about it .

if it's free then go get and tear it apart and learn alil something. Hell you could even make some money from it like the pistons and rods are nice oem upgrade high compression pistons. Cams you could send to like Delta or Web to get regrinds for cheap and sell those. Oil you could tap and sell so those not wanting to tap your own for a turbo setup or just for a replacement on JDM dohc zc's. As far as swapping that engine into a 88+ civic don't waste your time cause it's not worth it it's only good for swapping into older crx's which are a complete bolt.

Look around or ask around, you could find a cheap 1st gen ZC motor for cheap... I found one a year or two ago for a 100. Complete longblock, I woulda picked it up, but I didn't have a 1st gen integ/crx/civic. So yeah, ****** that ---- like a forty of ole E.

a1 on the 1g teg.
86-87 brown top. big rods, slight dome pistons.
88-89 black top. similiar to zc. smaller rods, higher dome pistons.
