Default Chipping a P72 - need a touch of help

I've been given a P72 with one of Xenocron's ATMEL chip kits to install in a P72 ECU, for a guy a don't even know. He happen to hear from a "friend of a friend", who knew that I have done a few PM6/PM7s over the past couple of years.

Now, the PM6s are straight forward...remove the old chip and install the new ZIF socket... this OBDI ECU kit comes with a couple of extra capacitors, one extra chip and one extra resistor and I find instructions from Xenocron's site to do the install seem a bit rough.
I'm assuming, by the board layout, that there is no old chip to remove, that the ATMEL chip goes in the empty location in the bottom right of the ECU, and the smaller 20 pin chip goes right next to it... I'm having trouble with the other bits.

Help me

Oh, also looking for a turbo edit base map for a stock GSR, running 450s, T3/T4, 9psi. Didn't see one on the .bin library.

The install portion is pretty straight forward...the 74HC373 chip goes in the IC4 spot, making sure to keep the chip orientation correct (line up the half moon cutout with the way it's depicted on the board). The 2 capacitors go in spots C52 and C51 (no orientation needed), resistor goes in R54 spot (also no orientation) and J1 is just a jumper wire. Also remember the eprom has to be correctly oriented on the board as well.

As for the GSR .bin for TE, you'll never find one. Obd1 requires either Uberdata or Crome (I highly suggest Crome). TE is for obd0.

Excellent, thanks guys.

Didn't even realize T/E was for OBD0 only.

UGH...

I can't for the life of me find R54. I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist...or I'm blind.

From the link provided, it looks like R54 is right below J1, next to R52....but it isn't there. There are no markings and no holes.

More help please?

Thanks again.

Now I'm off to learn how to use Crome...
