chipping my ecu, quick question
first ecu ive ever chipped, i bought a xenocron chip, do i need to use the 28 pin black socket with the 28 pin blue locking socket that holds the eprom? or can i just solder to blue socket right to my ecu? any issues with doing this?

Re: chipping my ecu, quick question
If youve never read an ecu chipping write up then how do you even know how to do it. If your smart enough to know how to do it on your own, How come you can't see that the 74hc373 blocks the blue thing :1 from sitting down on the board. The black thing is like a spacer dude.
ship that ecu and the chipping kit back to xenocron and pay him the 75 bucks to chip it before you waste an ecu.
