Default Chip an obd0

I have found a lot of info on where to place the chip on pm6's and pr4's. But not a lot of info on dataloging. I have read you put a 4 pin in cn3 but I do not know what locations since its a 5 pin so it could go into 1234 or 2345. Or is this info dead wrong?
