Can emanage alone handle boost?

Can emanage alone handle boost?
My toyota 1zz-fe 1.8lit engine has MAF sensor and no MAP sensor. There's no standalone ecu solution for my car without hacking up the ecu harness.
I already planned to use emanage + boost sensor, it is a 7-9psi application and I hope to retain stock fuel pump and injectors.
The question is, is emanage alone sufficient? I'm considering adding a low ratio FMU into the setup and use e-manage on top of that. Is that recommended?
Just to clarify that the reason to add FMU is to increase the baseline fuel delivery so that e-manage will not need to seriously hack the MAF signal. Furthermore, I believe emanage can only add or subtract up to a small percentage, maybe 20%.

Re:Can emanage alone handle boost?
wouldn't the increased airflow create a problem with the maf?
if you're not using the maf for a signal to the emanage, and you're using a separate map sensor, you'd need additional injectors for the emanage to fire off.
unless the emanage is reading map and maf? I don't really know how it operates, so I can't give too much help... hoping that asking questions will help you out, I guess.
