WTF am I doing wrong?? I've got the Moates Burn1 and downloaded the software for it. I have also downloaded BRE and turbo edit. Keep in mind I am not very computer literate. How do I burn a chip?? Stoopid eh :1? Is their instruction somewhere showing how to use the burner? or BRE or TE. I've been reading on pgmfi but everything is about tuning and I'm not even that far yet. This may be hopeless but I'm gonna try to learn a little. Please help

 

I never burned a chip before (I'm using ostrish) but I think you need to use burn1 software. Choose the rom, send it to burn1 to chip it and thats it... What doesnt work for you?

 

I use tunerpro to burn chips its the only thing that works for em every time... go to moates.net they have very good instructions in their articles!

 

i have run into problems with the chip and buffer addresses resetting themselves for some reason which would prevent me from burning a chip.

what chip and model number are you using?

 

Think I've got it now. Can you use BRE with a pm6 running a b16 or does it need to be a pw0?
