Default Burn 1 help

I keep trying to pull the bin file off of a crome chip through burn one, it reads successfully and then I save. I go to crome and try to open the file and keep getting a error msg saying "invalid file" "could not load file." I thought I had a bad chip but I tried using 3 other chips that I knew worked fine and still the same thing. So I thought my burner may be screwed up so I burned a chip and it worked fine in the car, so I pulled the chip out and tried to read and save the bin, same error msg pop up? what am I doing wrong?

Cant recall if if it works in 1.2, but you can pull a bin directly from the Burn1 w/ Crome.
Its the same process as if you're using an Ostrich.
Id give that a shot and see what happens.

in options set the com port correct for the burn1 and apply/ok, and get out of options to the tables/graphs
Press "R" and a little toolbar menu will add-on on top.
click "get"

if all setting are correct, it will load up you map in crome and then you can save it where you want.
