I know nothing about the wilhelm burner, but with the moates you have to plug the burner in and place the chip in before you open the program and then it will read or burn the chip.. try doing that and see if it works.

I have never used that burner, but most need to be set for the type of chip you are using. You might want to check that.

Is it a willem dual power or a willem universal? Make sure you read the willem walkthrough if you haven't. What chip are you using? That could be the problem. Make sure you have the chip in correctly. If all else fails, do a search for willem. Go to the willem site and read through their forum too. All the information you need is already out there, you just have to search for it.
