BRE PLX DM-5 wiring
Ok im trying to help a buddy out with his OBD-0 B16. his car has been tuned on BRE and now he is going boost. I have a wiring issue for his wideband i would like to ask.
His equipment
* 91 b16a crx
* PLX DM-5 SM-AFR Wideband
* Chipped PR3 BRE NA tune
so im looking threw plx manuals and see there is a NB and WB output and OBD-0 Vtec cars have 2 NB inputs C16 Primary and C8 Secondary. after the tune he would like to retain a stock 02 sensor. so the questions is in tuning do i have to hook the WB output to the primary 02 or can i leave that and hook the wb output to the secondary (C and log from there? Under Datalogger options there is just a tab for oxygen sensor and of course has the plx option but is this threw only primary 02 (C16)? and would this be an issue if after the tune we leave the primary and leave the wideband in C8?

Re: BRE PLX DM-5 wiring
The secondary O2 is ignored, so you log the WB from C16. When finished with tuning, you hook the stock back to C16 and make the requisite changes in the ROM. If the wideband is a permanent install on the vehicle just hook it's grey narrowband simulation wire in place of the wideband output, and forget about the stocker.
