Default Bleed valves?

do bleed valves attached to your actuator tube cause boost spiking? anyone had a bad experience with this?

Currently running one because my APC is being a pile of ----.

Spike to 8.5 psi, drop to ~6 psi, then boost creep in the upper revs to 7-7.5-8 psi. I haven't turned up the boost any further because of this.

This is one of the needle valves you can pick up at Homeboy Depot for $4... not the ball-spring Grainger valve MBCs. The ball-spring designs do not have these problems.
