BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

I have created a spot where BIN files can be uploaded and downloaded on my site.

Please understand people will try these BINs out so please only post working BIN files that are at least moderately tuned to dyno tuned. Post ALL details that you know about the file you are uploading (ECU, engine, turbo, fuel pressure, injectors, fuel pump, any special features enabled, etc)

To those leeches who will only download, you suck!

Now, those of you who have been around for a while, get to uploading good BINs!!!

http://www.-------------/bins

***Disclaimer: Don't download anything if you don't know what you are doing. Try to sue me for hosting them and you can go ---- yourself. Try to sue anyone who posted a BIN file and I'll shove a broken broomstick up your ass. DO NOT post anything except for KNOWN WORKING BIN FILES or I will come find you.

That is all.

Bahaha, now instead of people asking for bins for this setup with this turbo they are going to be asking for people to upload bins for this setup and this turbo. :P

This site isnt there to appease the noobies...its for organizational purposes only.

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

I have been running TurboEdit with the 3bar for a week or so. It seems to get rid of the boost cut problem I was having. I still need to get the car on the dyno before I would post up any bins, but it is running pretty strong under boost. ;D

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

Thanks to Semnos for uploading that D15 bin. It seems to be pretty damn good on my D16. The idle is a bit fuxored, but I can deal with a rough idle if the rest of it is this good.

Why aren't more people uploading bins? :(

As soon as I get a WB on this thing I'll be uploading.

I figure people know where to get my bin off the uberdata site, but I just uploaded my latest bin anyways.

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

I tried that turbo d16a1 one and it pings liek crazy. :(
the timing seems agressive. Same with the d15boost bin, it pinged liek a mutherfucker. Am I doing somethign wrong here?
If I look at the d15boost one, it has liek 30 deg advance at full boost, isnt that wayyy too much?

SpankedYA! 11-27-2004 08:40 AM

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

They are for reference. Not to not have to tune your car. Its to get you to the dyno with your motor in tact and not have to spend 4 hours of costly dyno time. Insted you spend an hour just fine tuning. Adjust the timing it need be. ::)

I've used both of them with no pinging at all. ??? Check your base timing, maybe?

The D15boost maps have less timing than the ng48_rory. I'm assuming you meant D16A6 instead of D16A1?

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

Yeah sorry d16a6. Ill check my base timing,
but doesnt 24 deg advance at 4000rpm at 10 psi seem way too much?

Dr.Boost 11-27-2004 08:51 PM

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

It doesn't seem to far off to me, but I'm no expert.

I was getting scared so I added -.25 per psi retard to mine, but even before I did that I wasn't getting any detonation, although I do have very low compression.

What are the 5 letters in front of the PR3 in the filename?

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

if you go into the uberdata forum I and in the roms sticky I have posted my .bin for my y8. I tuned an average afr of 11.5 at 8psi. I also did some tuning with the partial throttle maps. I have my dizzy set at 12 degrees and my base timing in the maps is at 12 degrees. I started with bbka's maps and tuned from there. Anything over 8psi and you will probably run kinda rich. I turned the boost up to 10psi now and my afr is dropping down into the low 11's at 10psi. I also posted my log of an 8psi pull if you want to check out the afr.

Chris Harris 01-19-2005 10:26 PM

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

I'd really appreciate if you could post it. You know all the little details of your setup to post and plus its a record if you ever want to go back and change the tune to update it.

I'm sure it would help everyone out.

Thanks!

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

Alright i uploaded the file to your site :)

Also take note that this was done with my distributor set at 12 degrees because its a y8. I'm still trying to figure out if this is the correct way to set it or not...it runs fine though so you shouldn't have any problems.

what ecu is you .bin for? i have a y8 and running uber and want to try your bin.

sohc_mshue 01-23-2005 01:38 AM

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

i'm running it on a p28, but i'm sure it would work with a p30, p75, etc. Its just using p28 code.

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

i am running a P06, is there a way to run that on mine?

sohc_mshue 01-23-2005 03:41 PM

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

yes you can use it. As long as your p06 is chipped for vtec then it will work just fine.

J-MAN 01-23-2005 09:45 PM

Re:BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

anybody willing to burn a chip for me? i don't have a burner. i'll pay whatever it costs..
