Re: BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

there is no stock LS bin in 1.7

Tom-Guy 12-13-2005 12:11 PM

Re: BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

Which 1.7? There have been about seven variants. Blake Warner is a lazy little less than white ----------er who did a horrible job of sensibly labelling upgrades and betas.

FYI, you need to splice LS maps into GSR code to get everything working correctly with most 1.7's.

I'm giving you short, sarcastic-ass answers that don't really tell you anything, because - while not hard - there are a lot of little things you are best off knowing before you make your own basemap, burn a chip, etc. It's all done up, in this forum, in DIY how-to's easily found when searching. It's either you do the homework now, or you get the stress and confusion of the "now it doesn't run right, CEL" thread we get four of a week here. If xeno's going to be your tuner, he may be inclined to hold your hand, but the rest of us want you to search for the how to make a basemap thread.

uberdata.pgmfi.org also has a lot more UD-specific stuff. hint hint.

Re: BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

I'm suprized there isn't a base map for all the programs out there. I don't know if UD, Crome have any but TE didn't. I don't have a burner or i would test my base map i made. lol

Uh, you only said 16G earlier.

That "16G" off the new Evo is good for 400+ whp. It's not like the earlier 16G... it is a MAN sized turbo.

Yeah, its up there. Be warned Y8 are very sensitive to ignition timing, good engines after you ditch the oil pump, but they arent like other D16.

Fixed the BIN Directory today, figured out how to get myself logged in and deleted all Virus and bad files.

Also added one file that was emailed to me.

Re: BIN file depository (TE, Uberdata, Crome, etc)

I got a LS-T .bin I'll be throwing up as soon as I get a replacement A/C power adapter for my laptop. I'm a noob tuner but it ran w/ decent AFRs. ~14.7 @ idle. cant remember the WOT AFR's w/o pulling the datalog, but I think it was lower-mid 11s.

Set-up:
LS B18b1
GSR Crank
GSR wiseco pistons
Eagle rods
stock LS head

14b turbo @ 16psi
450cc inj
GM 3bar
93 oct

Uber 1.7

I had Xenocron help me get signed up but I can't figure out how to upload files. :S How do you upload onto it.

Chris had the same problem. I sent him two bins that he uploaded but they never showed up in the crome file. shrugs

Chris, I've got a .bin file for you to add to your BRE collection, just found it after cleaning up my computer. It's for a b16/sc-61/450cc w/stock map sensor and was fully dyno tuned, lemme know how to get it on there, seems like the directory is still broken.
