Basemaps are way too rich.. what am i ------- up now?
so i figured out why my car wouldnt run right... for some reason, when i make a basemap in crome now, their all ending up way too rich. Like 3x the amount of fuel it needs. Ive made quite a few of them before without a problem This is on a new computer though, with slightly different options of crome. Maybe ill explain my steps and someone can tell me if im retarted.
comepro 1.1r2 or some ---- like that
i started with the stock ls map from xenocrons website.
advanced boost tools+
stock map sensor
then i change injector size from 240 to 550
run boost table adjustments
run fuel tools
Ive tried messing with the order of operations here with no success. I got it started yesterday morning by pulling like 2/3 of the fuel out of the whole map. But now it runs a little wacky im guessing because of all the manual edits. I never had to run fuel tools before, maybe thats whats ------- things up? I feel like such a noob :1

only thing i can think of is somewhere when your changing injector size you didn't actually save the value correctly. so it thinks its running 240cc when its actually pumping 550's.
im pretty sure your supposed to do fuel tools install first. then change the injector size. you tried that order?
any cel's? did you remove checksum etc?

lmao.
I need to spend a day with you just so you can get the hang of it.
It's not that hard, just kind of an annoyance at first.
You need one of those power inverter thingies so you can run your laptop for longer than 2 minutes.

is it odd that when i run fuel tools, the screen just flashes and does nothing? No menu options come up or anything. I dont even know what a battery offset is.

I meant the actual fuel tools.
But since you mentioned it, yea. go to the advanced tables, go down to the stock battery offset thing, and choose from a list of injectors.
Then, go back to the fuel mulitplier and enter something like 45 in the offset box. That's just a starting point.
Start the car and see how it does. If its too rich, make that number smaller or vise versa.
You do have the latest version of crome, right?

scroll down and read the part about injector size and what all the boxes mean.
