Default AFC tach not working

So after installing a apexi neo, everything works but the tach. I ran the wire from the afc to the - side of coil and now in it jumps around alot rpm wise. It goes from actual rpm to something really high, i.e. i am reving at 3 it is reading 5. I set the number of cylinders in it and I got everything else right (I think). What am I missing?

Secondary circuit backfeed. Find an actual tach signal, not the coil.

The ground side of the injector works every time.

I love how the SRT-4 guys buy MSD Tach adapters to run AFCs. :1
