Default 4-wire o2 sensor w. potentimeter adjusted output?

ford 4-wire ox sensor, im pretty sure my signal out is the gray wire (black = ground, whites = heater) correct me if im wrong. i just wanna make a poor mans version of megasquirt, so i can get my stoichy up to above the blatantly rich mixture that it has now. IF i've read it right, lean produces lower voltage? rules out me using a resistor, is there some way to add voltage? i can solder and stuff no problem if i know what im doing, i'm just unsure on what exactly i'm gonna do for adding voltage help me out here

If it is really hella rich, then it would take care of itself. What is causing it to run so rich?
