the 2.5 and the new 3.6 and the 2.0t made by VW are very realiable. Only issue I've seen a 2.0t in for indefinatly was the stupid manifold changeover motors going bad. An we got a new updated part at the dealerships back in september to take care of this issue. And the new TDI with the pumpen duesen has a decent amount of power for a stock tdi and still gets good gas mileage.

Be it me. I'd Keep the TDI over the teg. But thats me speaking from a vwtech standpoint. Even though I do drive a Fazda and a Honda
