FYI, Hitchhikkr texted me the other day that of the 9 broken TDIs currently residing at the dealership 6 of them have clogged injectors/burnt up pumps and sporting bio-diesel stickers. VW owners = engineered failure. :P

only problem i have had with it is a glow plug, as long as you do the maintaince like cleaning the intake and egr ---- it will last long. I was running bio diesel for a while getting a steady 57-62mpg. you have to slowly introduce biodiesel to these cars or you clog up the injector pump and fuel filters.
