No. When it comes time for a FP upgrade I will be adding another 255hp parallel intank. I don't care for series pumps, you don't get full flow. Have other priorities first a second rail for staged injectors. Before I spend the time to do that I have to decide what to do intake wise.

Timing is fairly conservative for E85.

It sounds like the stock actuator operates on the CAN bus.

See if you can find out the format, maybe you could hack up a controller for it based on the rough skeleton of FreeEMS code? It's not engine running ready yet, but it would make one hell of a boost controller :-)

I'm going to keep looking. But I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to writing code beyond some extremely simple C++ and Vb in a class a few years ago. I would have no idea where to go with that. Sounds promising if someone else wanted to help though.

There are others to write code, but you'd have to decode the signal and get the specs of what the packets look like and mean...

I'm going to continue looking around to see what I can find.

I work with a guy that used to be an electrical engineer. I told him about this turbo and he came up with a real simple circuit to control a servo with a pwm signal and move it based on voltage (or map pressure). He also said that he can set endpoints and control the hold voltage or map signal. My turbo should be here today so we are going to tear into the stepper motor that controls the VGT and will see what kind of input it requres. We might just switch to running it with a servo and call it a day though. Will keep you posted.

If you gut the actuator and hook it straight to the stepper motor it will probably work. There are a few circuits I've seen that are meant for that. One is on the MS forums, meant to operate a stepper idle motor from a PWM signal. I wish I had the time to mess with it all. I think it would connect to the PWM boost control output of the MS with a little work. I just don't have the time to work on it all.

Good luck and keep up posted.

I think water/methanol injection would really be a sweet addition to the HMT monster of the decade. I ran a Snow Boostcooler on my Saturn and liked the system. Nice stuff. It dropped IAT temps significantly and really freaked people out when the hood was up. "What the hell is all THIS ----?"

can someone get me some more measurements on this turbo? ive been looking at doing this for a lloonngg time (since 04 when i worked on my first 6.0 powerstroke). i have a 6.0 turbo off of a burnt truck so it needs a serious rebuild. but since i can get one of these so cheap i wanna see if i can fit one of these things inbetween everything in the hatch crapper. if you could whats the length from end of the turbine to end of the compressor, the farthest accross part of the compressor and turbine housing and the widest part of the center section. id really appriciate it! thanks a lot
