so im trying to get my zc ef hatch into Pinks:All Out, instead of being just another muscle car... so i need some help. on a budget.

so what i need:

-half radiator
-downpipe
-ic/charge pipes
-engine management
-boost gauge

thats all i can think of now.

good luck the last crx that did that had either a fully built b or h series turbo. and he still lost. im not knocking you becuase i drive a crx dohc zc that im turboing right now but im just saying good luck and if you do i wanna see some videos of the car when it gets done

it was a b series crx, and if you havent searched for it you would know who tuned/helped build that car. and any fwd import that can make it to the final 4 is something to be said. let him go to pinks all out. its a proving ground for gods sake. i have yet to see any dsm in pinks all out go as far. i bet if he would have won, people would still hate imports. thats why i love them!!! hate brings failure, failure brings disappointment, disappointment brings death.......

and to the op, look into zeniceguycrx's build. his was outstanding, and has tons of information. if i ever go from a sohc to a dohc it will be a zc/d16a1 no doubt.

all im saying is most likely will not happen in a zc powered crx. i not once said anything about it being a shitty car. that thing was fast and clean. i watched that episode a few times. but there is a difference in a zc and a b-series. the b-series is better and can handle more. therefore the built b>built zc

wow. b>d. youre brilliant. i wont even start with all the arguments there. like the fact that i dont need to sleeve my block for a LONG time. or the fact that i push 30 less horsepower and the same torque for a 1/8th of the price. hmmmm, an over rated b16 for 3500 plus mounts and all the hassle. or a 400 dollar swap that almost equates the same and drops right in.

nobody said i expected to win pinks. i just have a racer ticket, and wanna see another import there, instead of all the muscle. so im trying to get into pinks. im also not saying i wouldnt want to win, but i doubt it will happen. but either way, its 40 bucks for two days of racing, to watch pinks live, and to see if i can get my car on tv.

im getting close, i have everything figured out minus piping, dp, oil lines, and management. anybody wanna help me out with a cheap resource for a chipped and basemapped ecu? ill throw whatever stickers all over the car for you. haha

thats pretty good, but still, honda reliability any day over a dsm. my friend just got his dsm back on the road. now im waiting for him to blow it again under stock boost levels.

my friends 98 GST went through two rebuilds and one used engine within 5 years

i had two friends back in high school, one a 93 tsi, the other a 98 gsx. both went through two motors, one a evo VI (i think), and one stock, in each car. four motors two cars. all motors seized due to oil pick up failure. and i actually have another buddy who went to honda because his talon kept seizing motors. lol.
