Looking to do a timing belt job on my 97 teg, and i don't feel like spilling 100 beans up at the dealer, so i know a few of you nogs must have some good stuff lying around.

you wanna buy used timing belts? I have a about 3 gsr belts with low miles, 1 ls with high miles, 1 b16 greddy with low miles.
but buying a used timng belt is super cheap in my opinion when a new belt is around $50.
I also have a used ls water pump, maybe a b16 1 also

you can get a new timing belt for less then $20 with shipping off ebay
and a water pump for less then $40 :1

---- ebay, that ---- is like russian roulette, who knows wtf you're going to get. If people can forge APEXi turbo timers, who's saying they aren't throwing honda logos on Juan Pablo Escobar's Timing belts?

I'd prefer to buy a new belt obviously, but i know a lot of guys around here have random ----, take for example someone who builds a motor, and blows it up on the dyno and tears it down, gee his timing belt has 3 hours on it. Yeah i could buy something like that, or go blow 50 bucks at the dealer. Sorry for being cheap but christ almighty this is HMT not HT, i'm a ------ college kid who works part time, and i honestly don't want to do the job cause i do the ---- all day long, but it's gotta get done.

Now i'm assuming the all b series waterpumps and timing belts are the same size? How many miles do you assume are on the lowest mileage timing belt, and the waterpump.

yup they came off a b18b they were new when i rebuilt my motor. i dont have a digi cam but i do have 4000+ post so you dont have to worry about getting screwed
