i just went through this on another board bro. its not the same thing. I had to rip the entire turbo setup off of my car because the z6 oil pan is too shallow for the D15B pickup. I was getting Zero oil pressure due to the difference in pans.

Not the same at all. So anyone reading this, if your going to install a z6 oil pan on your JDM D15B thinking its the same, save yourself the trouble and DON'T USE A Z6 pan BECAUSE ITS NOT THE SAME.

hey man, you must have had a bent pickup tube or something. seriously, all obd1 vtec pans are the same. z1/z6/d15b i have used one without any problem. maybe the z6 pan you where using was dented a little i dont know, all i know is they are the same.

it was not dented at all.. my pickup on my d15b is perfectly fine. After taking off the Z6 oil pan and replacing it with my original D15B oil pan all my oil pressure came back to normal and every thing ran fine.

I spoke with two different people who had the same problem, both of their findings were identical to mine, the Z6 pan doesn't allow the D15B pickup adiquite space to grab oil.

I wish it did work bro' i'd be boosting already.
