what previous owner told me "if you granny shift it doesnt grind, but if your ******* it it grinds" it came with my car, but i havent got a new motor in it to try it out

What do you want for it? I might be able to deal with a little grinding. 
Maybe the open downpipe will cover the grinding noise.
