really no need to wrap it around the charge pipeing but i would assume that it would do the same purpose no matter what it was wrapped around.

oh and how thick of metal did you guys use on the flange you welded to it and what would be the best metal to use for the flange?

 

I think my flange was 3/8th maybe thicker. It wasn't paper thin like that first manifold show had.
