hey has any one here turbo a d16y7 n kept the stock manifold if so show some pictures n has it gave u proboblems d
also does any one here has a good link to how to install a turbo kit on d16y7

I have always believed this was impossible. Turboing a Y7 is also impossible. Give up.

 

You can't spell worth crap and quit being so cheap and buy a log manifold atleast cheap noobs.

been there done that like 3 years ago in my old hatch. Both y7 engine and matching y7 mani. I like the y7 mani more then a HF manifold. It's like a cast ramhorn. Just hack off the cat and welded a T3 flange onto it and for a little safety a support on each side. fluxcore welded cast FTMFW! The HX I believe comes with a similiar manifold but the cat is able to be unbolted from it.

 

I think he is talking about the stock intake manifold on the y7, and yes, it has been done

 

these last two guys seem to be able to manage it, why not you big daddy?
