what is the problem that makes you think its bad to start with? thats a bit easier to answer. the IACV could be going bad and just not work properly but still work. meaning that if you unplug it, it will make a change. but it might also not be your problem. i have never had one go bad myself and i have been messing with hondas for at least 10 years

 

my reason is that i'm getting code 14 on my ecu which is IACV.
