Those vortec heads are perfect bolt-ons, and cheap, but they do have some limitations. I'm hoping to install a pair on my 350 to up the compression by over a point. I think I spotted a set in the junkyard. Right now it has some 76cc smog-*** 1975 heads on it, which suck.

Just turbo it! Do the trick where you flip the universal block hugger headers to make a manifold out of them (as the guy with the big-*** monte carlo did a while back). I regret not boosting my Malibu... But who knows, a big turbo is hopefully in the future for it.

you can build a 400hp all motor small block for what it takes to turbo it
