The OBX manifolds are different from SSAC; still chinese but made ar a different factory out of different materials or something. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the OBX line failled too, but the '321SS' manifolds that aren't made out of 321SS are schedule 10 thickness and do not crack.

 

Im not gonna spend $850 for a good manifold, I wish I could have a TIG welder

 

Get a mini-ram from tunertoys.com, bro. I've tuned more cars than anyone you've gotten advice from and most of that manifold design ---- doesn't matter.

Topmounts are the easiest way to make a 4" downpipe fit, that is the only reason they exist. If you are trying to build the sort of setup that needs a 4" downpipe and don't like the prices you see then you are in serious trouble. If you are trying to get a topmount because you think they are somehow superior, LOL, the do a good job of making turbos spool later and that's it.
