be careful. Some d16y8s are not direct fits because they have an air equalizing channel. This will produce a massive leak. I have attempted to jbweld this, but I still have a slight leak i'm not sure if its the IM or my charge pipes now.

I know the 2000's have the air equalizers. I'm think the 99's do to. Just watch out.

air equalizer eh? whats that part look like? where on the manifold is it? thanks! and is there any difference between an auto & manual Y8 intake manifold?

 

IAC.... auto its on the TB, manual its on the back of the mani

 

Interesting....on my 99DX 5speed its on the TB too. auto EX is the same.but still not the same manifold...
