Real Jdm '98spec Itr swap(nice!!!!!!!!!!) Come and get it
Ok im selling a jdm type r swap. It was in a hatch and now we pulled it out cause we are in need of money for our other project.
The Good:
Real jdm type r swap
Less than 16k
Aluminum flywheel
ACT clutch
with the 4.75 final drive
starter
rear bracket
halfshaft
alternator and everything else you see in the pics
the bad:
it doesnt have the lsd do to it blowing up from the previous owner. My friend had the tranny rebuilt without Lsd and replaced the case on the tranny because the other case was cracked from the lsd going out. All you need is axles and linkages. O and the reason for the black valve cover is cause the type r one was badly oxidized.
The other good is that are in need of money so the price is: $3400.00 firm

Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought all ITR motors were "B18c5" whether they were JDM or USDM. And that the "B18c" was just a JDM GSR motor (slightly higher compression, also rated at 180hp instead of 170).

JDM motors have no vin plates. And all real jdm motor do not have the number after the lettering and yes the jdm gsr is also a b18c the way you cant tell its a itr and not a gsr is from the green paint on the head unless you pull the head completely of and look at the pistons O and by the red valve cover, but we used the GSR valve cover cause the red one was oxidized pretty bad.
