Nice. Do they come as is for a DIY, or some sort of instructions? Either way, good price.

are these going to be as reliable as the Walbros? any setups running them that can vouch for the quality?

not that Xenocron needs vouches, just wondering how good these pumps are...

If you need instructions...you need to look in a Haynes or Helms manual. There are plenty posted here on the site...if you have never done one though, they are pretty straightforward...some cars are just a pain when you have to drop the tank. Others are less difficult.

About 600 as long as you give the pump direct current from the battery using a relay. With anything...you can push the limits but its good to have room 'in case' in my opinion.

Re: XENOCRON 255 lph Fuel Pumps, Honda, Acura and more applications! NEW!!!

I spoke to the manufacturer at length on this...I didnt just want to find a pump that was a cheap copy of a Walbro. They have sold thousands with minimal issues...and IF you do have an issue, they offer a 1 year unconditional gaurantee that it will be replaced. This is why it took me so long to find a good source!

I dont know if many of you know, but at one time Walbro would take back anything, but after a while they got stingey...now they require an upfront payment for a "questionable" pump to be tested...and IF it tests bad they will replace the pump, but if they find it is good, they charge you for the testing and also for the return shipping. Just an FYI

DO these have the same issue where the tank needs to quarter/half full to work properly? Not a big deal, but I am going to be getting a new fuel pump in a bit for comfort and I don't want to deal with stopping for gas every hundred miles. :S

What are you trying to get around by going straight to the battery? (no, I'm not trying to be JD. I'm really asking a question) :P

I have never heard of that issue...so I dont think so. These are the same dimensions as the Walbro and I have a Walbro in my G2 and have never had any of these issues you speak of...

that issue only exists if you're too stupid to put that goofy ass filter on, just so you know.

Re: XENOCRON 255 lph Fuel Pumps, Honda, Acura and more applications! NEW!!!

Generally you really want to run a thick gauge wire (12 or so) directly from the battery to a relay with very low current loss, from the relay to the fuel pump. Use a wire directly from the stock main fuel relay to power the second relay or just wire up a switch (doubles as a safety).

By wiring as directly to the battery as possible...there will be a lot more current along the wire to power the pump...more current equals more flow. Fuel pumps draw a lot of power...with fuel comsumption of a 600 hp 4 cyl motor...those injectors are pumping hard and pushing a lot of fuel...you need your fuel pump to keep up with that...if it has enough current, it will be capable of doing that.

Doubtful...i dont think they had that in mind when engineering this beast.

Is the rest of your fuel system setup for E85 too? Need to be very careful...that stuff eat aluminum (and other stuff) for breakfast!

I've actually heard of E85 being used for over a year on stock honda fuel systems. Methanol dries rubber and corrodes, not 85% ethanol and 15% gas...

Just lowered the price on these fuel pumps $10 each since they have been selling so well (and my supplier lowered the price for me, passing on the savings to YOU).
