Mines in the trunk of my car. I was hoping it would finish the last foot of it's journey to my gas tank on it's own.

I just put mine in my accord a few days ago. It works great. I had to retune my fuel in boost. After I swapped one of these for my stocker. my AF's were at 9.1 at 8psi. to me thats a great sign.

got mine today, thanks for the fast shipping!

question, i know on my walbro there was the great big sock that needed to be used, and the little sock was the one that gave people problems with running out of gas....now i see this kit has a little sock in it...is it a problem? maybe some of the guys running them can answer that...im using it on an integra if someone is doing the same, lmk..

I went out and bought a new fuel strainer from AutoZone, it was like $9. the one that Xenocron sells in the kit isn't for our car.

I just reused the one from my stock pump. It's about an inch longer. the other one would have ran me out of gas with about 2 gallons still in the tank. the old one fit perfectly.

Mine was all yellow and nasty. 150K on it, I figured its cheap insurance that I don't burn up Xenocron's nice shiny 255 pump.

yeah my set-up is not working that well....at 1/2 tank its in limp mode and running with no gas.....So i think the sock is a def. issue. Currently waiting to see what XENOCRON is going to do to help me out....pump seems good besides this issue. Although this issue is a big issue.

What are you talking about? Your ecu running in limpmode has nothing to do with the fuel pump.

Ok ok sorry for using the term "limp mode" as i put it.....Exactly what i said, is what is going on, and its becuase its not GETTING FUEL from the pump. The sock is half the size of the factory one.. the pump i recieved was like 1-1/2" smaller than the factory one...So thats what im talking about Dmc1

Read the documentation provided by Xenocron. It never says to use the prefilter that comes with it, read the h-t threads on the walbro pumps, and you'll find the SAME issue. If you think the pump was too small, you didn't install the rubber bushing that goes at the bottom, or the white adapter..., or you messed it up somehow.

Basically, take the 15 minutes to pull the pump, install a new fuel strainer/sock, and find a rubber bushing to make the pump fit.

The prefilter/sock that ships with the kit is "universal", and too short. It'll make the car run out of gas early. AutoZone stocks the OE strainer at about $9.

MIne is way smaller then the stocker was to. Like the other feller said follow the directions and use some common sense with the parts provided in the kit. Mine works great. But it does run out of gas when I'm below a 1/4 tank and have to get on the brakes and come to a stop pretty hard. But it delivers plenty of fuel.
