If your going to make a Carbonfiber hood use only Epoxy resins, As we all know Polyester resins are crap! Use a good quality mold release that will buff out to a mirror finish before lay up, most important of all you will have to built the mold so you can vacuum bag the part during lay up, you cant see through Carbonfiber and there is know way in hell you will ever roll all the air out of the cloth during lay up, MUST VACUUM BAG! Go to google.com and study Vacuum bagging if you don't already know the process......Jim
