No that was one I had tried that on.. it just takes too long and doesn't serve any purpose other than making it look nicer off the car. You don't see that while its in the car. The pictures I posted here are what they will look like. The other pics on the site are some of the first I did and there are pictures that show the core design. Is anyone selling anything for this good of a price?

not that i'm aware of, just that street import place that sells them on egay and they're polished, but i don't know about the quality. i would trust an HMTer before i would trust an egayer. :-\

Well they are nice.. I run one on my personal car if that means anything to you. I'm just trying to help everyone out. I came across what I thought was a pretty good deal and I figured I could save everyone some money and make a couple bucks using my welder.

Thats actually very NICE intercooler for that price esp! I got one off egay and yes it was $10 more and it was not as high... I think I'm feeling regret at the bottom of my stomach!

Again thats a beauty! =) Forget side mounted intercoolers... get some of TODD's! And no, I dont know TODD... never spoke to him... but when you see a good thing you just gotta vouch for it!

cap off the ends and submerge it in water, have a fitting to hook up an airline to one end so you can check for leaks

what kind of cores are these?...extruded?

sticky for a while but not forever, its getting messy at the top

They are not extruded.. the inside looks like the outside with lots of cooling fins.. I'm still not clear on if that is tube and fin or bar and plate. I can never get a straight answer and it changes depending who I talk to.

that is tube and fin, bar and plate is the thick ass sqare columns that run horizontally instead of the thinner rounded "tube and fin".
