I recieved mine today. What a quality unit!

 

Recieved mine Friday, Man is this unit Very sexy, Way nicer the Version One that was mint to use!!!!

 

got mine in this morning! Looks awesome mounted on top of my steering column (no where else really to put in in a del sol)

quick question about the solonoid wireing though.. I set low boost at 12 and it boosted up to 16. Does it matter which of the green wires goes to the 2 gray ones on the solonoid?

and the pic of the wastegate was kinda confusing as well.. The top port goes to the intake manifold?? I thought it was the other way around

It is absolutely awesome, you wont find a better deal on any other ebc out there that does as much as this one. Only thing i could ask for is peak boost record. But im certainly not complaining!

 

Im looking for a boost controller that can give me gear or speed dependant boost control. Is this controller capable of that?

 

First off you can adjust the peak and hold boost display though the USB software. So if you want it to hold for 2 seconds just adjust it in the software under advanced config.

Second, which time of wastegate do you have?

Third, it does not matter which green wire goes to the gray wire.

 

i got everything straightened out.. I had the wrong vac line going to the boost controller. Using a deltagate- the boost controller works like a charm. Rock steady at 10 and 17psi. Best $260 i ever spent.

 

Did you use the software or just tune from the controller?

 

just tuned from the controller... my gauge cluster blocks the usb port. Nothing i could do about that, ill just have to unbolt it when i need to plug it in. I have some other issues i need to get squared away before i can start messing with the tuning software.

 

Great, I just wanted peopl to see that the controller can be easily tuned with controller without the software! Any pics anytime soon? I think the usb software scares some people.. i donno why.
