A few of trailer queens cars are using our controller beyond 2.5 bar. Once you go past the 2.5 bar you lose over-boost protection, which is irrelevant to most in high boost cars. Most of the big boost (22psi+) guys are actually using the controller to do the following.
A: Two step the their launch with the ECU to controller the EBC for traction off the line
B: controller to delay the build up of boost, which seems to be popular with the carb guys
C: combination of both A and B
Most big boost cars in general are trying to slow down the spool up so they can catch keep traction. The latter feature requires the USB software to tune.
I'm working on a FAQ that shows you how to do this in the USB software. There are two ways of doing this, one is very simple and the other takes more tuning but you get better results. The route you choice could be difference between weekend warrior and professional track car.
