The wastegate is all good. the like fin just bent in a little.

 

I didn't know the factory bead blasted turbos . They must spray paint wastegate actuators flat black too. So what kind of turbo is it? Mitsubishi TD05H with a Garrett part number? WTF lol. Did they do business together or something. It looks like a TD04 15g turbo to me, except the compressor looks like a 14b. Weird turbo you've got there.

 

reminds me of the rebuilt turbos from Holley 2 when I use to sell car parts.
Every once ina while I would see some weird look hybrid look crap come from them.
I use to see similar numbers where Garret p/n is on Volvo tag. but instead it would either said Holley.
The numbers from Holley look like the same format as Garret.
I called up 1-800-Holley-5 service number and I got a tech. to admit that they sometimes modify garret, mitsu., IHI, etc. center cartridges to work with different housings than usual.
This was a few years ago.
I think Holley doesn't do reman. turbos anymore.
