Here's an idea of what to expect from some D16 lovin':
Chinese kitted D15B VTEC, 6 psi. It was an OBX clone of a T3, if that matters:
Here's the Eclipse T25 car I mentioned. TT/Eagle bottom end but has stock sleeves/head/manifolds/etc. HF mani w/ adapter plate IIRC, or else he rocked one of those then went with an SSAC piece. You can see how the turbo spiked big at 3800 rpms (20-24 psi) then tapered to 10-11 psi. The small bump up at 4800 is almighty V-Tech FTW!!!1. Power band looks strange, but it's super driveable as it makes power all the time, anytime you hit the gas.
Fresh stock rebuild of a D16Z6, Edelbrock turbo kit at 6, 8, and 10 psi. I forget what turbo those come with but it's small:
Super pimp setup on a sleeved Z6, 9:1 CP pistons, Eagle rods, Pro-series IM, CSaddict ram horn, Crower stage 2 (aka GOD) turbo cam, GT28RS:
The same car as above with a T25 flanged GT3071R... meh, I don't like how it fucked up his spool. I don't like GT30 at all.
Stock sleeve stock head/cam D16Z6, has Eagles and 9:1 Wisecos. Skank9 Pro-series IM, Ram horn manifold from someone or other, .50 T3/T04E, etc. This is the pump gas tune, keep in mind these turbos are good for 400+.
With the exception of the GT28RS, and T25 flanged GT3071R which were taken to max power, all of the cars posted had 75-150 whp left in their turbos... except maybe the Eclipse T25, I understand they will do 200-220 but that's coming from Eclipse guys and if they are running junk internal gates then there's more power in the turbo and you can't get it out due to junk wastegate control. SO, that being said, mostly look at where these units spool up and make power. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

wow man thanks alot! i'd +rep you if knew how. i've got some reading to do then, but am still leaning very much towards the t3/to4e. i like its potential very much! lol once again thanks alot for helping me!

Somewhere down the line you're going to have to be able to grasp reality and realize that you're not going to get anywhere near what you want out of it. You'll be lucky to get $200 shipped out of it. I've seen them listed for $80 and not sell. People are trying to help you out and you're being an idiot. You think we're all just lying or full of ----?
