well my manifold is on the car, and i have a few bones to pick with you ted. 1st off, i had to drill out all the holes in it so it would slide on cause it was catching on the studs, but that wasnt the biggest problem. THE FLANGE WAS WARPED!!! IM REALLY LUCKY THAT HOTREX'S (JOSH) KNOWS EVERYONE IN CONNECTICUT (WHICH IS WHERE I WAS STUCK BECAUSE OF YOUR BENT MANIFOLD) SO WE GOT IT MILLED. dude the thing wasnt even a little bit off, it was bent to hell. i know you had to rush it out to me, but i mean, ----, you coundt have made sure it was milled flat 1st? like i said, ita all done and installed now, but you should have been sure that it was fine before you sent it. especially since i sent you extra money.

We take every precaution to clamp the flanges down when they are welded but it does happen sometimes. As you mentioned you wanted it rushed (which was what the extra money was for 2 day shipping) so we checked it on what was supposed to be a precision milled table and it looked OK to the eye. I literaly picked it up from the welder and put it in a box because you wanted it so fast. I would have had to do the same thing you did taken it to a shop and had it milled. The flanges are made of 3/8" hot rolled steel so you can tighten them as they heat up like a normal header AS for the stud holes(could have been misaligned because the flange was warped) I am not sure why no one else has told me this about these flanges I have sold hundreds of these .

Now...with that said we could have taken care of this another way but contact me and we will work something out with the cost of having this milled. I wasn't making much on these in the first place so i would be will ing to refund what profit i made towards the cost of the milling because that is fair.

didnt mean to go about it that way dude, and im sorry for that, because other than the bent flange and tigh holes, the manifold was nice. beautiful welds, nice flange.... its a quality peice. and it didnt cost me anything to get it milled, like i said, josh's father knows everyone and just called in a favor, it was free. it just cost me a night away from my house, which is no big deal. sorry about flaming you, i was just a bit pissed. what matters really is that im boosted now.
