I dont want to step in where i dont belong but with log manifolds generally you can only run a 2.5"=>3" DP to keep A/C. If you are doing a full HMT setup i doubt you will find the need to do anything larger than 2.5".

I've got 3" into the turbo, 2.5 to the tb, and I'm shooting for 3" to the cat (and later all the way). You don't need huge pipes going to the tb since the air is being compressed, but the super-heated air coming from the engine needs larger diameter piping due to the fact that it is expanded. And if you are forcing twice the air (as stock) into an engine, you need twice the piping coming out if it is going to flow well, right? Ok, no log mani is gonna flow THAT well, but it is all about compromises. That is why I've always thought bigger is better in a FI app. I want to run 3" if possible. If it isn't possible, 2.5 may have to do, or I may elect to use the external gate. which would remove some of the exhaust vomume from the dp. The only problem with the external gate is that I'd have to find or fabricate a flange for my T3 (mercedes type) which isn't gonna be that easy, so I'd like to use the internal gate. As for the pic, there wasn't one.

EDIT: What is wrong BIGWIG, need your paci? reread my post and figure out what I was saying before you respond. That is it for me, it ain't my thread.

Dude...can you read? i was just talking about a downpipe. I'll say it again because obviously you are a little slow.
IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN A 3" DOWN PIPE OFF A LOG MANIFOLD AND KEEP YOUR AIR CONDITIONING. YOU WILL EITHER NEED TO RUN A STRAIGHT 2.5" DOWNPIPE OR HAVE IT 2.5" AND FLARE OUT TO 3".

Dudes, sorry to rain on your parade, but he ain't making manifolds right now. Unless he posts a response, forget about it until February.
It sucks, because that was an awesome deal. I'm having to go elsewhere or make my own now
Anyway, quit posting until he comes back...
