the shifter is great, i notice a HUGE difference. but i also notice that there is some rattle when i am in second, i dont know if it is my car or what, but i checked and it is on there nice and tight. is this noise normal or am i doing something wrong?

Thats weird, I never experience something like that. Are you running an aftermarket exhaust? I've seen short shifters hitting aftermarket exhaust because shops install them too close to the shifter itself.
