how do these things compare to your 'average' short shifter? i've never heard anything about them, but i've always noticed how much of a price difference there is between these and others, or are you just buying the 'b&m' name? not trying to put you down, but i've seriously always wondered.....

 

When it comes to shifters there is not much of a difference on design, but material and quality yeah, of course, you can check out b&m products on their website.

b&m even includes some o-rins on their kits and u can see on the picture, if u add 1 shifter throw is like 20 % if u add 2 shifter throw is like 40% and so on, you can make you shifthing as short as you want, they make very nice products.

thats fair, new price is $45 shipped using parcel post.
these shifters are straight, there is no really a difference on shifting reducement, both the straight and the curved shifters have the same shifting. The curved one moves the shifter a bit more towards ur hand I guess, the straight one stays right on the middle, i would say that they are almost the same thing.

 

Now that's price matching.


I had the straight one in my crx and the ---- was lovely. I just don't trust those cheap ebay jobs. Too many stories of the ---- cracking in half.
