How good are the stock Ls Rods im at that point in my build should i get new H beam rods or save my money and use the stock Ls rods and just put APR rod bolts in them by the way this is for my Ls V-tec build i am doing and i going to run abut 14-16 psi. So tell my what you guys think?

unless u get them shotpeen'd. then ur up to 400 w/ a good tune

 

my buddys car makes 500whp on LS rods with arp rod bolts, the only issue he has had was a 40 psi boost spike, 2 rods bent but did not break.

 

If you can get a good tune, don't worry about it. And shotpeening doesn't do anything worth a ----.
