Big 16g?
Ive heard great things about the 16g's and sohc D's. But Ive heard better things about the evo 7,8,&9 turbos on the sohc D's. Good spool time, and able to put down somewhere around 300+hp.

Yep and most of the 7,8,9 evos still have mint turbos with lowish miles

Been there, done that. I wont use one again though, too much trouble and they dont last very long at higher boost levels.
If you want to be a pansy and run em low boost it will be fine.
16g is a good choice for a D-series. They are very reliable if you run them water/oil cooled like they're supposed to. Maybe at 25<psi they fail quickly, but they can run for 100k miles at 15-20psi. I had an e316g on my 1st DSM and it lasted 70k miles at 21psi before the car ---- itself and I parted it out.
