Default dirt cheap 93 si hmt setup

ben thinkin about this for a few months and wanted to make sure the car was solid enuff to play with. well 3 months and its still runs great .

i was going to use a t25 or 14b when i found them but this rx7 turbo fell in my lap. and just so happen my friend had the adaptor plate already made from when he was going to use it 3 or so yrs. ago.

i have a ching chang mani that a friend of myne welded up really fukin good but i still dont think its gonna be enuff and given the wieght of the turbo im using i dont wanna chance it. so i gotta either talk him in to letting me borrow the stainless miniram he has or brace the ching chiong mani somemore somehow.lol.

i dont really wanna use an intercooler because i would have to buy it and at 8 #'s i really dont see hte need for it if i pull timing and run 93.

the exhaust it stock and will prolly stay that way minus hte fart can it has. maybe i will keep the fart can iunno.

pics to come real soon like when i get to work in a few hours.lol.

gotta do some research on the turbo neverreally read about them before.
gonna be street tuned on crome with wideband.
any suggestions other than add pics and ****.

i have found that it is comparable to a T04B S-trim witch i looked up and looks like 230 is doable but really not sure. time will tell. all i want for now is 8#s. so i guess i gotta get a intercooler.

i was hoping i could get away with about 8 #'s without one. hmmm. i mean even if i did use a dsm sidemount it wouldnt get the airflow it needs. at least i wouldnt think it would. in the future i would like to get a water/air intercooler and use it as charge piping.

just got off the fone with my friend with the miniram and we gonna do some tradin and i got a nice manifold and a turbo now just run the exhuast and im amost golden.

got pics also. heres the turbo

is the sidemount really gonna help any. i mean i know they put them on dsms stock but ---- i dont really think it would get any airflow at all during city driving. i dont know i guess i will just have to find one and check it out.

Having a sidemount is alot better than not having it. Aslong as you mount it infront of the passenger side tire, where it should go. With the mud guard removed, it should get adequat air flow.
