obd1 to obd2 dizzy conversion
Ok heres the deal, ive got a 97 prelude sh that i race on the local dirt track. Spun a bearing in the original motor and found a jdm h22 for 200 bux so i swapped it in. I got the motor in and everything plugged up but no spark or fuel and im guessing thats cus theres no crank angle sensor, thing is this motor didnt come with one. Ive got the car converted to obd1 and have an obd1 dizzy so is there a way to use that dizzy and get away without using the crank angle sensor? Is there a diagram on how to wire the obd1 dizzy into the obd2 harness? All suggestions are welcome. Id really like to rewire if i could instead of taking the whole buttom end apart and changing everything for the crank angle sensor.

now do i use the wires from the plug that would go to my crank angle sensor since there are 4 wires there? Can someone explain how a motor without the crank angle sensor works? And what i am tryin to do is possible?
it needs some kind of rpm signal (ie- something reading the revolutions of the crank shaft)
U can swap the oil pump from ur OBD2 motor to ur obviously OBD1 motor. and keep it obd2
OBD2 prelude motors have the crank sensor in the oil pump
OBD1 prelude motors have that sensor in the distributor.

to solder the OBD2 connector to the OBD1 dizzy:
connector------------ dizzy
green-----------------green
yellow/green---------yellow/green
black------------------white
yellow-----------------orange
then there's gonna be 4 more wires comin off the OBD1 dizzy, which get extended down to the TDC and CKP on the oil pump (again, i cut the bottom connector off and soldered them):
OBD1 dizzy------- OBD2 TDC & CKP:
blue/green----------blue
blue/yellow --------white
orange/blue--------green
white/blue----------red
