Default BRE extra tables

I have version 2.2 and when I click on extra tables a window pops up with nothing in it? What do I have to do to get this feature to work?

I think that was an extra section that Ben was working on and just decided to never finish it. I would probably imagine that development of obd0 vtec ecu's is pretty much finished these days.

^ your not using a ng60 or 61 bin right? cause I have the latest version too and it only works with the vtec bins.

Someone was saying how obd0 doesn't compensate for temp. change. which I never really thought about. though when it gets cold, colds starts suffer. I was messing with TE and in the properties under fuel pressure it says something like adjust fuel pressure internally for cold starts. I've never adjusted that. Has anyone increased the fuel pressure for cold starts I was wondering too if the pr3 vtec bin would work on a pm6

Ya I just hit open on the top left and picked a bin. I see what you mean now ng60 no extra features.

I know when you adjust the fuel pressure In turboedit it will not change your fuel map like when you adjust map sizing, fuel multiplier, injector sizing. So you can mess with it and see what happens.

I thought most obdo used the fast idle thermo valve due to no programming for cold starts. I don’t know if a pm3bin will work with a pm6 maybe if you shut of vtec.

You may just try setting your idle a bit higher to help keep it running cold.

Sorry I have not tested bre a lot at this time.

It doesn't have the features, but know that I think about it. Wouldn't a turbocharged vehicle increase the IAT so much that it wouldn't really matter? I haven't logged my IAT temps so I'm not sure what temps are in boost. but I'm guessing they would be a lot higher then n/a. Plus in BRE, you can even adjust at 120 or something close to that. you have to get down to 87. I dunno maybe that's possible at night.

I'm going to do some tuning tomorrow and mess with the internal fuel pressure. For cold start, it's not just the idle but increase the a/f mixture. raising the idle isn't going to do that. you need cold start enrichment.
