Default turboedit tables help

i have a wierd and possibly stupid question... ive been running a turbo edit v.1.29 rom for a while now its great, just has hiccups. i was recently messing around with a dual map its awsome, its just that it too rich and boggs in boost. im in the process of redoing the fuel map and ignition. i have right now both versions of TE on my screen to compare the data... the ignition maps are comepletly different. can i use the ignition values on the boost side fron version 1.29 and punch them in on v 2.xx ignition table? please help

Sinc ehte new TE2.0 boost maps are effecively twice the resolution of the 1.x map, you would have to interpolate the values of the 1.x to effectively make them work on the 2.x bin.

It's pretty simple, but will take a bit of calculating. But, yes, you can do it.

would that not have a linear effect on the table?

It's linear if you make it linear.
